Our float in last year's parade brought great music, incredible crowd support, and unforgettable costumes! Kids riding in cargo bikes had a blast waving to the crowd, and the energy along the route was fantastic.  

This year, we're hosting a short, family-friendly, group ride through the Saxe Point / Bullen Park area to liven up the festivities! We need cargo bikes decorated as pirate ships and hearty riders of any bike type dressed as pirates to join our crew.

The Esquimalt Local Committee will have accessories on hand to help give your ride some extra nautical flair.

Schedule:

12 pm – Gather at Saxe Point Park for a dance party

1 pm – Slow ride through the Saxe Point area (exact route TBA), ending at Buccaneer Days festivities

We’ll have a DJ and sound system, a bubble machine, and stickers to hand out.
