Climate author and co-founder of 350.org Bill McKibben has good news for once. His new book “Here Comes the Sun” shows the magnitude and potential of the solar energy revolution that’s unfolding worldwide. After watching a recent recording of Bill with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes we’ll hear in person from NREL solar pioneer Keith Emery who will lead a discussion.

Bill McKibben is the author of more than twenty books, including the bestsellers The End of Nature, Falter, and Deep Economy. He is the founder of Third Act, a project organizing people over sixty for progressive change and a co-founder of 350.org. https://billmckibben.com
Keith Emery is a retired scientist from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). He has authored more than 330 publications and received many awards. He managed the so-called spaghetti chart which lists the tested characteristics of most industrially produced solar cells.
