Boston MA vigil: Outreach for Peace in Ukraine - MAPA

Start: Saturday, June 25, 202212:00 PM

End: Saturday, June 25, 2022 4:00 PM

We call for the withdrawal of Russian troops and an immediate ceasefire. NATO should commit not to expand and Ukraine should be recognized as a neutral country. The US and NATO must negotiate with Russia and support Ukraine in finding a compromise.

While Ukraine has the right to defend itself, the US should not be a party to this conflict and should not send arms to Ukriane.

An international zoom rally on April 9 organized by the International Peace in Ukraine coalition, attended by over 1,000 people, called for two days of protest and campaigning against the war on May 7, and again on June 25, days before the NATO summit in Madrid.

Our coalition includes local, national, and international groups across four continents presenting a unified response by peace-loving people around the world to say No to War in Ukraine; Yes to Negotiations and Peace. Join us in the streets!

On June 25, we will reach out with flyers and petitions to get the word out. We’ll have two shifts, from noon to 2:00 and from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Depending on how many people we have, we’ll spread out over downtown Boston and/or distribute flyers in other locations. Sign up to participate!
