Bradford Climate Conference
Start: Tuesday, May 13, 2025•10:00 AM
End: Tuesday, May 13, 2025• 3:00 PM
Bradford leaders, experts, local groups and students will share concerns about climate change, how it affects us, and what behaviour change we need to make and encourage others to make for a sustainable future.
The event will include climate talks and discussions where everyone has a voice. This will also be an opportunity to hear about a draft climate plan on which Bradford Council will be consulting, and to offer suggestions.
We are delighted that Bradford UK City of Culture 2025 will be represented at the event. This national honour for Bradford offers a wonderful opportunity to focus on sustainability. It is an opportunity for inspiration and a place to learn of a different future because we can act together.
Fairtrade tea and coffee will be provided. Food and drink outlets will be open throughout the day.
The event is jointly organised by Baildon and Shipley Friends of the Earth and the Sustainability Society, University of Bradford.
