The Coronavirus pandemic reveals the weaknesses of the U.S. healthcare system. The for-profit privatized healthcare system is hurting too many of us — and it’s gone on far too long.
Sharing our stories is a critical piece of advocating for the systemic changes that are necessary in order to guarantee our right to healthcare. Join WNY Poor People’s Campaign, Campaign for NY Health and Coalition for Economic Justice for a Virtual Healthcare Storytelling Leadership Training.
During the training, you will:
learn how your story can help win universal healthcare
Get support practicing and sharing a story for advocacy and organizing
learn about upcoming opportunities to share your story in advocacy for universal healthcare.
The training lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours and will be conducted using Zoom video conference. The option to participate by phone is also available.
The training is participatory and no experience is necessary – just a desire to help win healthcare for all! Please share this invitation with interested community members (patients and consumer advocates) who are passionate about health justice!
