Keynote Speaker- Dra. Gilda Ochoa

Every year A.R.E. organizes a FREE statewide conference where we bring together educators, professors, students, credential program students, education activists, parents, and community organizations. This year the conference focuses on how we can BUILD POWER in our schools, communities, and academic institutions.

Our conference Keynote Speaker is Dra. Gilda Ochoa, author of “Academic Profiling: Latinos, Asian Americans, and the Achievement Gap.”  All workshops be facilitated by education leaders who are actively organizing and building power in our schools, community and academic institutions.  We look forward to building community with you on April 13, 2019 at Augustus Hawkins High School in South Central Los Angeles!
