The Burlington Education Association leadership requests all members (and non-members) to attend the public comment portion of the Burlington School Board Meeting on September 13th. We will wear our solidarity shirts (green t-shirts) and support a delegation of our colleagues who will speak in favor of a fair teacher contract. If mediation, currently scheduled for September 12th, fails we will need to show our unity to stand behind our negotiators who are fighting for fair and professional pay and benefits compared to our colleagues in Chittenden County. Paraeducators are welcome to join us! Community members are also welcome to attend and speak during the public comment portion of the meeting agenda.
