It’s harder than ever to find a good job (or any job at all). Students deserve better jobs, both during school and after graduation.

As the government commits more and more money to building the Canadian economy and creating new jobs, it’s time for us to make sure these jobs are good for our communities and that we can actually get them.

This online welcome call is for any post-secondary student across Canada who wants to learn more about the movement for Good Work. We'll set you up with everything you need to get involved on your campus.

It’s time for our schools and our governments to defend good jobs, invest in them, and guarantee good work for all.

• Defend good jobs: Safeguard existing worker protections and defend the good jobs that already exist.

• Invest in people: Stop funding extractive industries (like fossil fuels, weapons, and AI) that harm us. Create jobs by funding public institutions like healthcare, education, and nation-building projects that actually work for us, like mass-transit and green energy projects.

• Guarantee good work for everyone: We need a Federal Jobs Guarantee. A program that offers a good, unionized, low-carbon job for anyone who wants one.
