We'll be meeting in Penn Station in front of the LIRR information window at 10:15am to take the 10:25am train to Hicksville where we'll be picked up by the campaign to canvass for Jim Gaughran, progressive Democrat running against incumbent Republican in SD05 in Plainview. Some of us may have a meal together in Plainview before returning and others may go straight home after canvassing so you'll get back to Penn Station either at 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm.

Canvassing will involve walking with a partner for 2-3 hours knocking on doors of Democrats and unaffiliated persons who are infrequent voters to acquaint them with Gaughran and the importance of Democrats winning control of the NYState Senate in November.
