Join the Metro DC DSA in canvassing for two amazing endorsed candidates Saturday April 18th: longtime chapter member Imara Crooms for Prince George's County Council District 9, and Raaheela Ahmed for Maryland State Senate District 23! Imara is running to fight for people centric development, increased police accountability, and increased transit infrastructure in South County. Raaheela is a lifelong PG County resident and former member of the PG Board of Education, and running on a platform of fully-funding county public schools, dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline, safeguarding our immigrant neighbors, affordable housing, and universal healthcare.

We will be meeting up at Marlton Elementary School, where we will have a brief training before heading out. If you are taking the metro, we will be meeting at 11:30am. We will be coordinating pickups at Branch Avenue Metro Station and Downtown Largo Metro Station to the meeting point. So, please mark whether you can give a ride or will need one in your RSVP.

Have miniVAN and Signal installed on your phone before arriving. Make sure your phone is fully charged, and bring comfy walking shoes!
