• ‘Wageless Life’ (New Left Review 2010, Denning): Denning explains that “capitalism begins with the imperative to earn a living,” and in this accessible 20-page piece he discusses the invention (and limitations) of the concepts of ‘unemployment’ and ‘informality’ as they relate to wage labour and our conception of life under capitalism in the 21st century.
