1pm Toronto / 10am Vancouver on Sunday, May 8, 2022

Migrant Caregivers: Join our online Mother's Day rally to talk about the long years of family separation, difficulties that we face while working in Canada, challenges in applying for permanent residency and the impact of the backlog.

We have invited Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, Conservative Immigration Critic MP Hallan, and NDP Immigration Critic MP Kwan to join us. The more of us that register, the more likely they will confirm their attendance. We will let you know as soon as they confirm.

Register now by completing the form, and we will send you a Zoom link via email.

If you are having trouble registering, please email us at info@caregiversactioncentre.org, with your name, postal code and when you applied for PR.

This event is for migrant care workers only.

Coordinated by the Landed Status Now Working Group which consists of Caregivers’ Action Centre-Migrant Workers Alliance for Change (Toronto), CCESO – Caregiver Connections and Educational Support Organization (Toronto), Committee for Domestic Workers and Caregivers Rights (Vancouver), Migrante Alberta, Migrante Canada, Migrante Ottawa, and PINAY Quebec (Montreal). We are part of the Migrant Rights Network - Canada’s largest coalition of migrant-led organizations.
