While we urgently work to fight the greenhouse gas-producing corporate interests and systems testing the limits of the planet and its people, we must also address the fundamental need to educate people, especially students, on climate change and how to adapt and survive in a warming climate. For our children and grandchildren, teaching about climate change and empowering them to act to ensure their future is, perhaps, the greatest legacy we can leave.

Join us in conversation with Bill McKibben, Third Act’s founder, environmental educator, and author of nineteen books (most recently, Here Comes the Sun), David Kitchen, climate science professor, disaster specialist, and author of Global Climate Change: Turning Knowledge into Action, and Megan Fink, Partnership and Policy Manager for the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). Each brings a unique perspective to this essential discussion. They’ll address what we can do to promote climate education to protect the earth and to pass on to our children and grandchildren essential life skills for living in balance with nature on a changing planet.
