The Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) will discuss its 2022 Teach-In on Climate and Justice.

MassArt will be presenting about their involvement in the Worldwide Teach-In on Climate and Justice. MassArt Provost, Dr. Brenda Molife, will introduce members of the Sustainability in the Curriculum Governance Committee. Members presenting include Faculty, and chair of the committee, Marjee-Anne Levine, Faculty members: Emily Cobb and Ava Fedorov, Staff: Darlene Gillan and Liz Reiser, and Students: Haley Johnson and Erica Hayes. They will discuss the 2022 Teach-In and plans for the 2023 Teach-In.

In 2022, MassArt's evening on climate action and social justice related to curriculum and creative practice. To spark the conversation, MassArt faculty, students, staff, and alumni panelists shared ideas about how they are tackling important sustainability issues with innovative solutions. 2023 marks the 150th anniversary of MassArt, and as part of that celebration the Teach-In will focus on how sustainability can be interpreted and integrated into the curriculum. Across all disciplines, live demonstrations, presentations, and discussions will center around methodologies and materials, in hopes of creating a continuing discourse that will sustain the next 150 years at MassArt.

All participants were, and will be, invited to make a Climate Commitment. Event media from 2022: Event Video Recording, Access Passcode: x@4PDEJ4
