Colorado Resistance is a grassroots campaign to resist the Trump agenda by electing as many progressives as possible to state and local office. Join us to find out how Boulder can most effectively use its power as a progressive stronghold to channel activist energy into the key races will need to win to take full control of our state in 2018.
Trump’s destructive policies may originate in Washington, but they’ll be implemented in our communities by state and local officials. The more power local Democrats have, the more power the Resistance has to fight back. With a fully blue state government, Colorado could step up as a national leader in the Resistance. For example, winning the Attorney General’s office would allow us to join states like Hawaii and Washington in challenging the Trump administration’s unconstitutional actions in court.
Given the Trump administration and GOP's continued enabling of a resurgent white supremacist movement, it's more crucial than ever that we organize to keep political power out of their hands. We hope you'll join us for the official launch of this statewide effort!
