On Friday, January 22nd, thousands of Columbia students will participate in the largest tuition strike in American history in order to win the following demands from Columbia: a 10% reduction in cost of attendance for the spring semester; fulfillment of the school's responsibility to West Harlem and an end for support of the NYPD; divestment from fossil fuels and companies enabling human rights abuses in Palestine; and recognition of key demands of campus unions for improved compensation, benefits, and protections.

January 22nd-24th, we're holding a virtual teach-in! What better way to protest our current university model than creating an educational space that addresses issues we all care about and is open to all? Tune in to hear student organizers, activists, academics, and more speak about issues related to our demands: higher-ed, student debt, racism, climate change, justice in Palestine, and the power of direct action.
