Another Sunday Streets is here!  Shahid for Change will be tabling at the North Activity Hub, at Mission Street & Excelsior Avenue specifically. Sign up to help us table and flyer for either of our shifts in the car-free pedestrian area from Silver to Geneva Avenue! The Excelsior District, nestled between Balboa Park and McLaren Park, boasts a small-town feel while being home to San Francisco’s most culturally and economically diverse community. Visitors quite literally walk the world along Mission Street, passing Persia, Russia, Madrid and Italy streets among others while exploring eclectic eateries and community centers.

Come dance in the streets with Shahid For Change at Sunday Streets' car-free route along, featuring live music on stage, performance troupes, fun activities, colorful murals, and even the Tricycle Music Fest! Open to pedestrians, cyclists, roller-skaters, toddlers, families, seniors and more on October 20th.

Open streets transform neighborhood roadways into a free, temporary park with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy an abundance of family-friendly arts and cultural offerings, making it a great place to spend the afternoon with children, extended family, and friends in tow.
