Brooklyn's businesses and customers alike know how impossible it has been for small businesses to stay alive and thriving in NYC, and how much that's changed our favorite neighborhoods. In this new political era, though, it's only impossible until it's done!

Emily and Senator Julia Salazar have introduced the Commercial Rent Stabilization Act (A5568A/S8319) in the Legislature, and their effort needs your help! Come to The Commissioner on November 13th at 7pm to join Emily, Comptroller Brad Lander, Council Member Shahana Hanif, and Assemblyman Robert Carroll to celebrate our local favorites, learn about the bill and our approach to making it law, and help Emily stay in Albany to see it through!
