People's AGM for CommBank!

Start: Friday, October 16, 201512:00 PM

Right now, the Commonwealth Bank is considering where they stand on coal. Join us to tell them to quit coal for good.

This year, CommBank began to reshape their relationship with coal when they ended their relationship with Adani over the Galilee Basin coal mines. Now, word has it that CommBank is assessing all of their coal investments! They are pushing to make a decision in time for their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November in Sydney.

To show just how many Australians want CommBank to quit coal, we’re holding our own 'People’s AGM' one month out from CommBank’s own shareholder AGM. We will gather outside the bank's headquarters in Sydney to call on them to rule out investing in the dirtiest and most dangerous fossil fuel of them all.

Location: CommBank Darling Quarter Head Office
Address: 1-25 Harbour Street, Sydney
Date: Friday 16th October
Time: 12noon, so bank employees see us!
