This is a constituent hosted town hall. The Senator has told many of us that he has no plans to host town hall meetings during the break. So, we are hosting one ourselves and inviting him. We very much hope he will attend, but his attendance isn't promised to us. Regardless of whether he attends, we want this to be a peaceful, civil, community gathering where we can make our concerns known and heard, and hear from leaders in our community. I encourage everyone to call the senator's office to ask that he attend. He has been invited via email and phone calls. But, I think it is always good to let your elected leaders know you want to see them and talk to them.
