On October 25-27, just before global climate talks, young people across Australia will take brave and hopeful action to demand a Climate Jobs Guarantee.

At the beginning of November, climate action will be on the agenda as the UN climate talks commence in Glasgow. While Scott Morrison delays and makes empty promises about distant future action, young people will be taking action to demand real solutions to the employment and climate crisis.

We could get to work immediately solving the climate crisis, and create good jobs that care for our communities and keep us all safe from extreme weather and droughts. We can’t let politicians kick the can down the road anymore.

This event will take place on stolen First Nations land that was never ceded, and on which the struggle for justice for Aboriginal people continues today. We stand in solidarity with First Nations communities across the continent and pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
