Hello all,

I have spent a great deal of time thinking about  how to frame the message for this webinar-a task that frequently comes easily for me.  Somehow, wrapping my head around the reality of free trade deals like the TPP, being the preferred method of trans-national corporate theft of water resources is difficult for me.   Nevertheless, this is the reality, especially considering water is swiftly becoming the the most sought after commodity on the planet.

The defining indicator of a society's well-being is the equal distribution of our most important natural resource, water. Yet global forces are at work privatizing water, undercutting indigenous populations and cities, selling it to those who can afford to pay while all others are forced to find other unhealthy sources. Globalization of water has led to a major crime against humanity-theft of our vital source of life itself, water.
