The Day of Redemption is an opportunity for advocates and organizers to use their voices to amplify a strong message to city leaders to end the harm caused to our communities by the city’s extra jail and the broken window policing policies that have kept it alive. This day will allow community to join us as we demand an end to the harm and a start to the healing and transformation our communities need and deserve!

Throughout the day we will rally, meet with city council members, and share ideas for the criminal justice reform policies needed in Atlanta to ensure the Atlanta City Detention Center is closed and $32.5 million dollars can be reallocated back into the community.
