This walking tour + protest will explore sites connected to US imperialism, corporate greed, and the ongoing genocide against Palestinians. The walking tour will be led by MDC DSA’s Internationalism Working Group with partnership from Jewish Voice for Peace, Palestinian Youth Movement, and more. The sites will cover the links between dark money and political repression, oil and Israeli apartheid, as well as how one trendy coffee shop contributes to Palestinian cultural erasure. The Walking Tour and Protest will connect attendees to organizing efforts in the DMV to support boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel and to end the genocide.

Note: this walking tour will include protest efforts along the route. We will engage in low-risk chanting at the end of each stop. This walking tour and protest will have marshals assessing the situation and any risks.

The tour will visit 3 to 4 sites around downtown DC. We will meet at 12:00PM and adjourn by 3:00PM with about ~ 1.0 miles of walking . We encourage participants to attend the Arab American festival at Dew Drop Inn starting at 4pm. We will provide snacks and water on the tour. The walking tour + protest is hosted by Metro DC DSA’s Internationalism and Political Education Working Groups.
