The Montgomery County DSA December branch meeting will be held on Sunday, December 1 from 2pm-4pm Eastern time fully virtually on Zoom!

These monthly branch general body meetings are for all DSA members who live, work, or organize in Montgomery County, as well as for any members of the public curious about DSA and our work.

From 2pm-4pm, we will give a brief introduction to the Montgomery County Branch of Metro DC DSA, share updates on ongoing campaign work, and discuss and debate ideas for branch priority campaigns for 2025. Current proposal submissions include: passing rent stabilization in the city of Rockville (rockvillerenters.org), dropping county funding for the Maryland Israel Development Corporation (dropthemidc.org), and advocating for an anti-austerity "People's Budget" that would include multiple budget demands, including dropping the MIDC.

We will gather after the meeting for an optional social happy hour from 4:30-5:30 at World of Beer in Rockville.
