Last legislative session, Bayer Monsanto began its fight to strip individuals of our right to sue when their products make us sick. The Cancer Gag Act, which was introduced in the Iowa Senate as SF 2412, would shield the pesticide industry from liability while denying Iowans any protections from potential harms of pesticides.
A growing coalition of organizations are uniting to defeat the Cancer Gag Act at the Iowa State Capital in 2025! This united front includes Food & Water Watch, Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, Iowa Environmental Council, Pesticide Action Network, Progress Iowa, Great Plains Action Society, Iowa Food Systems Coalition, and the Harkin Institute. We're inviting all residents of Iowa to join us at the special mobilization webinar to hear about the tactics we have planned and opportunities to take action and get involved with this campaign!
