On Tuesday, July 18th #Indivisible Groups nationwide will be showing up together to #KillTheBill & demonstrate how TrumpCare will hurt our friends, our families, & our country. We refuse to let that happen!

Senate Republicans released a revised version of their TrumpCare bill, including the so-called “fix”: The Cruz Amendment. It actually makes TrumpCare worse because it hurts people with pre-existing conditions and takes away key protections for patients that keep insurance companies in check. It is not a compromise and it is not a fix. THIS BILL WILL KILL US.

What’s a Die-In? A die-in is a form of nonviolent direct action protest where participants publicly pretend to die to highlight a deadly problem: these tombstones reflect the preventable deaths under TrumpCare.  

WHAT TO BRING:

• Wear all black (preferably)

• Bring a sign or tombstone (we'll have extras) & bottled water

• Bring your letter for Senator Cruz (optional). We will collect them & deliver Cruz's regional director for you after the event.

NOTE: Public parking is located on nearby streets (parking in the office covered parking lot is not permitted & they will tow) and at lunchtime, it may be busy so it may take additional time for you to arrive. This action is confined to the public sidewalk in front of the building and we will not be entering the building, apart from organziers delivering letters to Cruz’s director. This is a non-violent protest that is family-friendly. Participants are expected to engage in peaceful, lawful conduct.
