Carpool to The Dalles to Get Out The Vote in OR-02 (Nov 3, 8:30 carpool, 10:00 canvass)

Start: Saturday, November 03, 2018 8:30 AM

Are you ready to repeal and replace Greg Walden, the main architect behind the continuous attack on the ACA? One of the single most powerful ways to do so is simple:  talking and listening to voters.

Grab a friend and join in a canvass party, where lists are provided and you go door to door talking with voters and sharing information on why you support Jamie McLeod Skinner for US Congress. Smart phone or device preferred but not required. Can be done solo, or with friends.

Jamie McLeod-Skinner is running for Congress because our region needs a champion for rural communities and progressive solutions. Her opponent, the incumbent Greg Walden, is currently the #1 recipient in the House of Representatives of political contributions from the pharmaceutical industry. It’s time for Oregon’s CD2 to have a representative who will advocate for our families and communities and not for special interests.

Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before, we’ll cover everything you need to know. We'll do a brief orientation, answer any questions you have, then go knock on doors.  It’s actually fun once you get going!

Carpool information:

Volunteers often meet up for carpools at Gateway Park & Ride, but you can meet anywhere that works for you and the others in your carpool - coordinate here.

The canvass itself is 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at:
Wasco Dems Office
500 Washington St.
The Dalles, OR 97058
