Door-to-Door Canvassing in WA-03 (Aug 19, Afternoon Shift)

Join Indivisible Oregon volunteers as we go out to talk to voters in our Swing District! We're working to retire the current Trump-enabling US Representative, Jamie Herrera Beutler, who voted for the Trump tax scam and against a woman’s right to choose. She’s also taken direct contributions from the NRA.
Instead, we're working to replace her with Carolyn Long, an award-winning professor and administrator at Washington State University, and public policy expert. She is fighting for affordable healthcare, middle class tax cuts, protecting Medicare and Social Security, treating gun violence like a public health crisis, and eliminating SuperPACs.
This will be a tight race -- the results of the August 7th primary prove it. Talking to voters and increasing turnout is exactly what will propel Carolyn Long to victory in November. Let's make that happen!
Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before, we’ll cover everything you need to know. We'll do a brief orientation, answer any questions you have, then go knock on doors. It’s actually fun once you get going!
