Join the Downriver Schools Coalition for a fun event where we will

-Build community with one another

-Learn from each other about the different issues facing our schools

-Break down different aspects of school funding in Michigan

-Explain how federal and state education cuts will affect our local districts

-Teach you how to take action for Downriver schools

We encourage all parents, caregivers, students, community members, and school staff in Downriver schools to attend the event though anyone is welcome.

This event will take place from 2-4PM at The Guidance Center's Center for Excellence in Southgate (Building 2, 13111 Allen Road). We will take all the help we can get, so please reach out or indicate on the form if you're interested in playing a small or large role in this event!
