Join the NYC Democratic Socialists of America and State Senator Julia Salazar's office for a canvass for universal rent control in Bushwick! New York's rent laws expire in less than six weeks, and we need all hands on deck to win this fight!
2.5 million New Yorkers have tenant protections, but thanks to decades of real estate power in Albany, they aren't working as intended. Another 5.5 million New Yorkers have no renters' rights at all. Every New Yorker has the right to live without fear of eviction or a rent hike. That's why we're fighting for #UniversalRentControl!
