The Seattle chapter of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) stands 100% in solidarity with the Seattle Education Association. Why SEA Educators Are on Strike

1. The Seattle school district is proposing to cut multilingual supports and special education when we need to increase investments! Staff need manageable caseloads!
2. The Seattle school district is proposing to control and restrict when workers can take paid time off.
3. The Seattle school district is proposing to cut teachers' salaries. (The proposed "raises" won't keep up with inflation.)
