Moral Monday Caravans and Digital March on McConnell - Taking it to the States

The McConnell-led US Senate has refused to take up a full and comprehensive relief package during the greatest public health crisis in a century, but is now rushing to hypocritically rush through a Supreme Court nominee to fill the seat of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Following the powerful Moral Monday Caravans organized by the Kentucky Poor People’s Campaign at Mitch McConnell’s six offices and the DC Poor People’s Campaign’s caravan and speak out at his home on Capitol Hill, the South Carolina Poor People's Campaign is organizing our own Moral Monday Caravan and March to Stop McConnell’s Meanness, Misery and Mayhem, taking the fight to the offices of Senator Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott.

Join us in person for one of these caravans, or join us online for a national massive call-in to our Senators to demand a full and just relief package and a stop to the cynical hypocrisy of stacking the Supreme Court a few weeks from the election.

We will be caravanning in Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville at both Senator Grahams' and Senator Scotts' office in each city. For each caravan we will meet at 2:30pm to decorate our vehicles, bikes, skate boards, and strollers and to get information for the Caravan. The actual event will start at 3:30pm and we will be finished by 5:00pm.

You can sign up by choosing a specific location from the list provided and we'll send you the gathering spot and instructions to join us. If you can not participate you can choose the online only option and tune in at fb.com/anewppc and poorpeoplescampaign.org/livestream on October 5, 2020 at 3:30 PM EST where we'll have live reports from each location and continue a massive call-in to McConnell's offices.

We Will Not Be Silent in the Face of the Senate's Sins: Suppressing the Vote, Sabotaging the USPS, Stopping the Stimulus, Stealing Healthcare, Stifling Living Wages, Stopping Police Reform and Separating Families.
