It's a Virtual Phonebank for the great candidates in Michigan we are supporting in 2020! We will be phonebanking for Julia Pulver on July 13, 2020 from 3-5pm PST/6-8pm EST.

Julia Pulver is running to flip Michigan State House of Representative District 39 from red to blue in 2020. District 39, which includes West Bloomfield and other parts of Oakland County, Michigan, is a critical flip for Democrats to gain control of the state house. Julia supports universal healthcare, unions, and civil rights for women, immigrants and the LGBTQ community. As a representative, she wants to fight for clean water, education and gun reform, among other issues. Julia is a nurse with over a decade of experience in patient advocacy and public health, an entrepreneur and a wife and mother of four school-aged children. We’re excited to announce that the East Bay Activist Alliance is partnering with VoteTripling.org to assist them in their voter turnout research! "Vote tripling" is a relational tactic that targets irregular and low information voters through a trusted messenger: their friends. VoteTripling.org (password: remind3friends) is a nonprofit that supports progressive campaigns and organizations (for free) in integrating this tactic into their field plans to boost turnout in battleground states.

Vote tripling is being used in 2020 by GOTV and empowerment organizations like NextGen, Vote.org, BLOC, New Georgia Project, SEIU, Planned Parenthood, battleground state Dem parties, and U.S. Senate campaigns. The results from our calls will be used to make recommendations to organizations around the country on phone bank scripts.
