Are you a member of the Austin ISD community with many questions about how Austin ISD will "safely" phase in face-to-face learning starting on October 5?
How will schools operate safely when reopened? What will happen if there is a positive case in the school building? How can we send our community back into our schools if we have so many questions about how in-person learning will work?
We invite ALL of the Austin ISD community (families, students, community members, and staff) to join us for a car caravan to deliver our written questions to the Austin ISD headquarters. Decorate your cars with your questions and our demands #NotUntilItsSafe #HeroPayNow #DataNotDates and meet us at the starting location closest to you at 10:30 AM.

All AISD schools will reopen only when there is a decline in new cases for at least 14 consecutive days, a positive test rate of less than 5%, and a transmission rate of less than 1%.
- #HeroPayNow
“Hero Pay” at the rate of 2 times base pay for classified or hourly staff (i.e. custodial, transportation, etc.) that physically report to work.
