Join We Power DC for a casual, virtual evening workshop on one of the building blocks of grassroots organzizing: “1-1” conversations.

Power concedes nothing without demand. To pass public power legislation, we need an organized base of people across DC to pressure the Council to put people over profit, and municipalize Pepco. But, how do we build a formidable grassroots movement strong enough to win?

One-on-one conversations with our friends, neighbors, families, colleagues, and fellow residents allow us to build the trust and relationships that are the foundation for our collective power. Learn how to have engaging and effective 1-1 conversations, so that you can help us build the movement for public power in DC, and other organizing efforts you want to grow!
