We are just a few days away from an election that will decide who leads our Department of Public Instruction. On one side is AFT-Wisconsin endorsed Dr. Jill Underly – who supports fully funding our entire public education system and has stood as the lone vote on the Board of Regents against layoffs at the UW system. On the other side is Brittany Kinser – a privatizer who wants to strip even more resources from us, our kids, and our communities.

Meanwhile, our State Supreme Court election features our endorsed candidate, Judge Susan Crawford –a principled judge with years of experience—against Brad Schimel – who has already said he backs the state’s 1849 law banning abortion and believes Act 10 is just. Elon Musk has poured $10 million and counting into the race against Judge Crawford because he knows the State Supreme Court election will determine whether an anti-democracy court majority wins or not.  We can’t let him win this fight.
