Join Climate Action Evanston for a community Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 18th! This celebration will kick off a full week of programming for Evanston Earth Week 2026.

We have an exciting lineup for our program, including:

• Keynote address from Illinois Environmental Council CEO Jen Wailing
• Awards for lifelong activists Janet Alexander Davis and Libby Hill
• Musical performance from the Sheryl Youngblood Band
• Sustainability update from the City of Evanston
• Workshops from each of our six programs

The ceremony will run from 2:00pm-3:45pm, followed by refreshments and workshops hosted by our six programs from 4:00pm-5:00pm.
