DC Climate Rally—Every Day Counts

We have two months left of a Democratic presidency before four years of Donald Trump. Republicans have vowed to expand fossil fuel production, cater to industry at the expense of workers, and eliminate key climate funds in the hottest year in recorded history.

We intend to fight back, beginning with offense! Join us as we march and rally to pressure Biden to take major action on climate change before January! This is our last major moment on climate for at least two years—let's make it count.

The rally will be outside of the Environmental Protection Agency, soon to be taken over by former NY Gubernatorial Candidate Lee Zeldin, demanding the federal government do everything in it's power these next two months on climate it can. This includes much that will be hard for a Trump Admin to undo on day one. We demand President Biden's Admin sieze the moment and protect our future by:

1) Maximize Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastrucutre Law money for climate.

2) Use the Homestead Act and the powers of the Interior Department to protect public lands from new fossil fuel drilling leases and permits.

3) Cancel new oil and gas projects.

Join the NYC Bus:

7:30am - Meet at 311 W 34th St. in Midtown, Manhattan.

8:00am - Bus departs Manhattan.

12:30pm - Bus arrives in DC.

1:00pm-3:00pm - Rally.

7:00pm/8:00pm - Arrive back in Midtown, Manhattan.

*please bring a water bottle, snacks, and signs. We will be providing one meal, likely pizza, on the commute back to NYC.
