Delaware United, ACLU-DE, and Network Delaware are proud to announce the official launch of our lobby day training guide: Every Delawarean’s Guide to Planning Effective Lobby Days. We’re hosting a training to help us get the word out about this guide and we’d love to have you join us!

The training will explain our new tool and walk you through the process of hosting an effective lobby day. You’ll learn the stages of forming a coalition around your issue, how to schedule and track appointments with legislators, and the most effective way to present your issue to the legislators you will meet with, as well as many other steps along the way.

The lobby day guide also includes several templates and resources you can use to help you stay organized, as well as an additional list of tips from the creators. We’ll give you a taste of all of these tools at the meeting.

We will also be doing a brief training on the free online graphic design tool, Canva.

Everyone is welcome to join us at this training event. Whether you are a representative from an organization or private citizen looking to organize for an issue important to you, this training is for you!
