Explore robotics, technology & virtual reality at the Opening Night of the ART+TECH FESTIVAL 2019 with Shahid For Change

Start: Friday, October 25, 2019 8:30 PM

End: Friday, October 25, 201910:30 PM

Explore nightlife installations and performances on Friday evening, October 25th, at opening night of the ART+TECH FESTIVAL 2019 with Shahid For Change!

Space is a canvas on which we write our stories, paint our dreams, and build our realities. How do technologies like virtual reality allow new ways of living, being, playing, and moving in space? How might robotic prosthetics extend our bodies in space? How do radical mapping projects redefine our relationships to our world, and to each other?

In this exhibition, we aim to expand our space and transcend borders, while also getting out the word for Shahid Buttar, Stanford-trained constitutional lawyer and one of the former directors of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. From 8:30 to 10:30 PM we'll be leafleting and chatting with folks near the entrance of the GitHub headquarters at 88 Colin P Kelly Jr Street, but if you'd like to leaflet inside as well as out, please purchase a ticket for Opening Night, October 25th, here.
