Mass mobilizations led to the closure of bases and the end of military exercises. But their historic struggle for human rights and environmental justice continues.

Mirada Puesta en Puerto Rico: Crisis en Culebra y Vieques
Los pueblos de Culebra y Vieques, los municipios insulares de Puerto Rico vivieron bajo condiciones de guerra mientras los EEUU y otros países realizaban ejercicios de entrenamiento de guerra total y probaban armas. Las movilizaciones masivas llevaron al cierre de las bases y al fin de los ejercicios militares. Sin embargo, su histórica lucha por los derechos humanos y la justicia ambiental continúa.
