This talk will provide enough science and reality to strengthen your backbone, and enough discussion to provide tools for useful pre-election conversations in 2018.  It is desired, especially in ‘red’ districts, to listen and engage in topics of highest importance in each area, whether that is water, drought, pollution, wildfires, loss of snow, or rising tides.  Special focus will be on how to talk about these issues and engage voters.
