On Monday, October 4 at 7pm, you are invited to a Zoom conversation with The Rev. Canon Sally Bingham and Dr. Bernadette Roche. The Rev. Canon Sally Bingham is the founder of Interfaith Power & Light, a national organization formed around a religious response to global warming. Dr. Bernadette Roche is the Co-Lead of GreenGrace/Maryland Episcopal Environmental Partners, a Biology professor and Director of the Environmental and Sustainability Minor at Loyola University Maryland.

October 4 is the feast day of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment and a fitting day to feature a conversation on our role as Christians in taking care of God's creation. Creation care can take many forms. Come listen to The Rev. Canon Sally Bingham's story and her advice on how we as Episcopalians can find our own way to be active in creation care and an advocate for environmental issues that impact our human life and the life of all God's creatures.

This will be the kickoff event for a year of visits to churches throughout the diocese to talk about environmental justice, GreenGrace, and the Maryland Environmental Human Rights Amendment (MDEHR.org).
