Families Belong Together March Los Angeles 2

Start: Saturday, July 21, 201810:00 AM

End: Saturday, July 21, 2018 2:00 PM

We all share a common goal we want to abolish ICE and make our communities safe for immigrants and refugees. Let's continue to put pressure on our elected officials and spread event on awareness about the issues our immigrant community faces. Collective actions and unifying demands can pressure elected officials to comply with our demands.

If we all commit to take one action a day whether it is calling our elected officials, talking to our friends, neighbors, .. about the issues and connecting with local organization. We can reinforce our demands by coming out on July 21st, let's show our elected officials that we are not going anywhere and our numbers will keep growing.

Reach out to your friends, neighbors, people at you favorite store or restaurant tell them about what is happening , encourage them to learn more about different organization and ask them to join us on July 21st.

  • Demand Mayor, Eric Garcetti publicly support defunding ICE, advocate for Ending family separation at the border and in our communities
  • Demand that LA County Sheriff end their policy of cooperating with ICE and CBP
  • Protect immigrants with Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

WANT TO HELP?

Freedom for Immigrants - Formerly CIVIC: https://www.facebook.com/FreedomforImmigrants/
This week, we helped free Jose from an immigrant jail by paying his $20,000 bond. Jose's reunion with his daughter was an unbelievable moment. She did not know that he had been released and did not know he was coming home. She was outside playing and she spotted him the minute he got out of the car and came running to him calling "papa, papa!"
