On Wednesday May 4 the Henderson community will address the Prince William County School Board about items reported in a recent report detailing findings and recommendations made to that school’s principal and her response.

Highlights from the report include:

-         An Update on the school and county’s response to parent issues about the safety of children who walk to Henderson Elementary School:

-         An update on teacher retention and trends that have seen 85 percent of the school’s instructional staff leave within the past five years;

-         An update on the diversity of the Henderson community and the school leadership’s response at addressing diversity issues;

-         An update on adult bullying and its impact on the school environment.

Other parents and concerned citizens from the Henderson community, Montclair and across Prince William County will be on hand in support of the teachers, staff, students, parents and taxpayers who make up the Henderson Community.
