Feb 25th: Healthcare Actions

Start: Saturday, February 25, 201710:00 AM

We must get people to start thinking about real solutions to the healthcare crisis in America. We have been overburdened by the financialization of healthcare for far too long, and we must make a stand to stop the repeal of Obamacare. We must push back hard and demand a medicare for all plan so that people can no longer go bankrupt with healthcare, or attempt to navigate an endlessly complex system that makes it difficult to get even a routine office visit paid for. Over the week of February 19th to 25th, Congress will be in recess and Congresspeople will return to their homes and local offices all over the nation. With so much at stake, now is the time to let your legislators know where you stand on the issues of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Affordable Care Act and Universal Healthcare. We will be Rallying at the Corner of President Ave and Elsbree street to create local visibility for this issue, and make it known that people all over the country are tired of our awful healthcare system, and we don't want it getting worse, we want to finally fix it with a tested and proven solution. Bring yourselves, your signs and your stories to your signs to the Corner of President Ave and Elsbree street in Fall River on February 25th at 10AM! We will be breaking up the rally at Noon and heading to the bagel co for lunch and networking. We will have fliers talking about what you can do to get involved and make a change on the local level and start pushing the grassroots movement for real change in Fall River, in Massachusetts, and eventually in the US as a whole.
