Join us to celebrate our federal heroes!

Federal workers are the backbone of our nation, serving us daily.

Show your appreciation by joining IAM Union, NFFE-IAM, labor and community allies on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Columbus Circle outside Union Station to celebrate these federal heroes.

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and U.S. Representatives Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) and Glenn Ivey (D-Md.) have confirmed their attendance and participation in the event.

Volunteers will distribute informational materials, engage with commuters, and hold signs thanking federal workers. Members of Congress, elected officials, and local community leaders are invited to attend this event.

Federal workers, from healthcare professionals to firefighters, deserve our recognition.

This is a chance to stand with labor allies and community supporters to say “thank you” as they return to the workplace.
