Join fellow Vermont-NEA members and staff at a regional meeting to discuss how we, as a union of educators, organize and respond in these political times. How do we build power and stronger communities, on our own and in alliance with other organizations. Vermont-NEA will be joined by Labor Notes to facilitate the conversation. Labor Notes is a national media and organizing project that has been the voice of union activists who want to put the movement back in the labor movement since 1979.

The meeting is not a training, nor is it a traditional Vermont-NEA meeting. This is a chance for average members to gather to discuss what you are currently doing and what you hope your union would start to do to help organize and protect our schools, union and communities in these times. All members are welcome. The regional meetings will ideally build towards a New Business Item (actionable item) to be considered by the Vermont-NEA Representative Assembly on March 25.
