Philadelphia - Film Screening: the Crossings

WILPF Greater Philadelphia Branch joins Korea Peace Now and UPenn Government and Politics Association in hosting the film Crossings, detailing the story of women activists crossing the Demilitarized Zone in Korea. It is a beautiful film of strong women working for peace! Happy Women’s (Making) History Month!

We will also be hosting the film maker, Deann Borshay Liem who will be joining us for a Panel discussion with other women who were part of the Crossing in 2015.

See below for building and parking information. Event begins at 6:45. We will record the panel discussion, but the event itself will not be livestreamed.

There are two local parking lots, one at 38th and Walnut (2 blocks away) and one at the Sheraton, 36th and Chestnut (1.5 blocks away). Septa info coming soon.
